It has a pleasing mixture of flagstone and pine floorboards, it has a flagstone roof and is smooth painted brilliant white. It features a traditional Rayburn oil fired cooker and central heating stove. Turriedale has spectacular views over the West Mainland toward Hoy.
It has been equipped with original antique farmhouse pine furniture and contains similar art and antiques as the byre. It has been star graded by the STB as 4 star self-catering.
A large open plan kitchen and dining area leads on the west side to a sumptious and very comfortable open living room. This room is a joy to be in with a full range of authentic antique farmhouse furniture and delightful mix of original art and antiques. The modern world can be found if needed through the Panasonic Viera HDTV with integrated home theatre system.
The bedrooms (a twin and double) and bathroom are off the kitchen on the east side with pine boards and furniture continuing the farmhouse theme throughout. The Bathroom has a powerful shower in a fully tiled cubicle and large free standing cast-iron bath.
